i have sent an inquiry to find out more on insurance coverage and I will post as soon as I hear back from them. It is so uplifting to see how so many companies are now interested in creating devices for people with Bronchiectasis/ NTM.  :) 

I had the privilege of seeing this device in person at a conference, and it is pretty neat. Are you currently using any airway clearance device? If so, do you feel you are getting adequate airway clearance with it?

I ask because when a new machine comes out, it is natural to think the newest one must be the best or will automatically give better results. But everyone’s airway clearance routine is different, and people respond differently to each method or device.

Your routine is likely working well if, over time, you notice:

• Less chest congestion
• Mucus is easier to bring up
• Better energy and sleep
• Less shortness of breath and chest discomfort

When I inquired about Medicare coverage they indicated with your pulmanologist's order Medicare should cover it and it you have a supplement insurance plan then it would be $0 cost to patient. If you are a cash pay client or insurance doesn't cover it for some reason they have a monthly plan and a hardship request can be made to see if the company can help. The goal is to get any patient who needs the best to get one.
