Are you getting out to exercise during this beautiful fall weather?
We may not always be up to exercising but exercise is highly recommended for better lung health. We can allow ourselves to take some off when we are not feeling well but we must try to push ourselves to do some type of exercise on the other days. The link below provides information on the benefits of exercise: https://www.bronchiectasisandntminitiative.org/Learn-More/I-am-a-Patient-or-Caregiver/Exercise

Das23,
I agree wholeheartedly. Setting little goals and adding on each day is the key to exercise success. There was a time when I couldn’t walk a block- I can now walk a distance of a mile on good days. We can never give up- just keep on resetting goals.:)
It is very helpful for your heart and lungs (and mental health)!
We will walk outside if the AQI is good, otherwise I try to use a treadmill.
Hopingforacure,
Hello! Exercise is definitely both for our physical and emotional health. An indoor treadmill is the great alternative if you are unable to get outdoors. Have a pleasant day!
I do my treadmil everyday.
I try and get my body moving every morning for at least 20 minutes.
Hello! 20-30 minutes of exercise is recommended. However, 5 -10 is acceptable if this is all you are capable of doing on an off day. Any exercise is better than no exercise.
