Hello everyone and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays. It's been a while since I've been on, hope all is well... I have a quick question. Has anyone in the community ever tried Advanced Lung and Bronchial Support supplement by a Dr. Sinatra? If so, do you have any thoughts about it?

Hello Sumter,
Welcome back and Happy Holidays back to you!
I have not tried it, nor heard of it.  Supplements do not have to go through the FDA approval process, hence we have little research data to prove their claims of success.  Many advertise false claims to lure in- it is a huge money making business.
I am not against trying something to see if it works for you, but I would discuss it w your doctor or pharmacist to make sure that there are no drug interactions.

Be very, very careful if you have any issue with swallowing large pills or capsules. My mother told me, two weeks ago, that she'd stopped taking Dr. Sinatra supplements/vitamins because they were nearly impossible to swallow because they were so large. But, she is having issues now with her lungs (it was probably due to allergy season) and bought this supplement. Shortly after that conversation she took this capsule. It lodged in her throat and she began to cough...that caused the capsule to break open and she INHALED the fine powder encased in it. Within minutes she was coughing so violently that she was coughing up blood. Ambulance called and she spent one week in the hospital to prevent pneumonia and blood clots. Her x-rays show the powder in her lungs and that is a very dangerous situation for an 88 year old with lung issues. It completely shut down her left lung. She now has full-blown pneumonia. Her pulmonologist labeled this: AN ACUTE LUNG INJURY due to the capsule that Dr. Sinatra sells.

Now we are two weeks into this nightmare and her left lung is still completely shut down and her right lung is beginning to cloud up. Her home is now filled with huge tanks of oxygen, nebulizers and a wheelchair because my formerly VERY HEALTHY mom cannot walk 10 steps without her oxygen levels dropping into the 60's. Her husband is exhausted from caring for her and we will have to hire in-home care for her.

So, today, on her 88th birthday we are waiting to see if she will win or lose the battle for her life. My sister is almost non-functioning with anticipatory grief, all of her grandchildren call me crying. All because Dr. Sinatra is too cheap to make smaller capsules. Did you know that as you age your esophagus looses tone, making it much harder to swallow large things? If you want to avoid the nightmare that we are living do not buy this product made by Dr. Sinatra until he changes his packaging of this dangerous capsule.

Hi Sumter,

I agree that you should avoid unapproved treatments and review your supplements with your health care providers.
