I can’t recommend a specific brand. Below is basic information on mesh nebulizers:https://briutcare.com/blogs/news/what-is-a-mesh-nebulizer-and-how-does-it-work

Hi Trey. I think based on the technology alone, there aren't many (if any companies) making an "on-demand" mesh nebulizer. The technology itself requires a constant stream of energy to vibrate the mesh to release the aerosol. The thought process is that the mesh should create the most appropriate-sized particulate to get to the lower areas of the lung. You get a higher-quality treatment there for the "waste" that happens when you exhale is negligible. I'll keep looking to see if there are any "on-demand" models, but I haven't found any yet.

I hadn't considered how negligible the amount of medication waste might be.

Searching more, I did find this mesh nebulizer that has an on-demand feature: https://briutcare.com/products/briutcare-smart-mesh-nebulizer

But it doesn't work with hypertonic because it clogs up the mesh.

Thanks Christina!
