Have you ever taken a chair yoga class? Would you like to share your experience?

I hope it is ok to share this.
Chair yoga is offered free online from Cornell University Continuing Education with a professional instructor on Wednesdays at 9 am. The instruction is focused for seniors. The instructor does stretching, balance training, strength training with light weights. A lot of the stretching is done sitting in a chair or wheelchair.
It is not strenuous for homebound people. She also does training on AARP's Senior Planet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Attendance is usually in the 200 attendees range on Senior Planet. Most of the attendees are in the Northeast but there are others from all over the USA. You use the link depending on which day of the week it is.
Here are the links. It is all free and live at 9 AM. You can paste the link in your browser. (link to classes below to paste in browser)

Ann,
Of course, this is more than okay to share- it is greatly appreciated.
Now, more members can enjoy these classes. Thank you! :)
Chair yoga has been helping me a lot as the bronchiectasis no longer allows me to do aerobic exercise. I am 80+ and chair yoga helps me to keep my flexibility.
MaryA,
So glad to read your post- we all have to find what type of exercise, relaxation techniques work best for us. Have a pleasant evening.
