Bronchiectasis is often underdiagnosed because physicians can mistake it for other chronich diseases such as COPD or asthma. As research and knowledge progressive we will surly see a rise in diagnosis. Stay informed and spread the word! The more we talk about it the more people can seek treatment and have increased quality of life.
Increasing the awareness about Bronchiectasis has really taken off over the past few years. Celebrations such as World Bronchiectasis Day really increase exposure for patients worldwide. Yes, we can all help spread the word via our friends, family , colleagues and social media.
