Coloring our hair
Hi,
Has anyone with bronchiectasis had exascerbations or lung symptoms from coloring your hair?
Thank you

Hello! Did you just experience this?
The chemicals in the dye may irritate your lungs but have not been enough to cause a real flare up for me.
You can ask your hairdresser to use chemicals used for sensitive people. Some salons use this type of product for cancer patients and or highly sensitive people. Some salons offer products, some do not.

Absolutely! I've discovered two different brands that have are non-anomia dyes. This has helped me tremendously. Not all salons carry them and in some cases they've had to be special ordered. Redken and L'Oreal-Professional are the two I've used. There may be more.

HastyRetreat,
Hello! I wasn’t, and still am not ready for white hair either. The gentler products do make a difference.
I had a lung symptom from coloring my hair on July 4th.
The results of my "All American Dye Job" left me breathless !
White legs - red hair on one, blue hair on the other.
