Does anyone have difficulty with sleep, both getting to sleep and staying asleep through the night, because of your Bronchiectasis and/or NTM? If so, do you have any tips to getting a better nights rest?

Hi Scott. I have read quite a few articles that discuss different factors that may cause trouble sleeping in patients with chronic breathing troubles, from post nasal drip, sputum retention and cough, depression, sleep disordered breathing like sleep apnea or reflux. Are you experiencing anything in particular?

Hi Scott,
I've had trouble staying asleep since starting my antibiotics for NTM. Could be a side-effect. Could be stress. Could be both of the above!
It seems to help if I do some gentle yoga every day. I suppose just about any type of exercise would do the same thing.
Yes I do but think it goes with our lung diseases. I go in streaks off and on with my sleep pattern.
