I would love to read some information about bronchiectasis management. For example about airway clearance, postural drainage, hypertonic saline, etc. :)

I found this bronchoscopy video, Inside the lungs if you want to keep this. Shows the steps as to what procedures they do.

There are the flutter, acapella and the aerobeka are some I have used. Huffing is another way to try to get the mucus up. Also I have had percussion on my back too. The vest airway clearance system is another one I use daily. I found this site maybe helpful for everyone.

I like to read about the nitty-gritty details of dealing with these diseases, both from a medical and quality of life point of view. I know that our experiences are all different, but broad generalities make me more anxious, not less....it's a little like driving in the dark with low-beam lights versus high-beam lights. It may be scary to see that deer beside the road, but I'd rather be prepared for the possibility as opposed to hitting it broadside with no warning. In other words, help us understand that "chronic cough with mucous" may mean violent coughing fits that come on suddenly and last 1 (or 3 or 5) minutes, coughing up mucous 10 (or 20 or 50) times a day, etc.

Also, just some fun, social stuff is nice to open people up and get them participating. Site scavenger hunt? Online ice breakers? I love the photo feature!
