Ksmiles, I have found myself sleeping more and more - but sometimes it comes to me via naps. This then disrupts my main sleep. Does this happen to anyone?

Howdy Kristen,
laff4evr is a night owl.  That's not an admission that I eat mice.
Rather I am usually awake when most others are asleep.
Like you - my normal sleep pattern has deviated from the norm.
My change originated from a non-lung health condition.
It's come to the point where I no longer view naps as "napping".
I sleep in shifts.  Maybe four hours in the morning and three or so late evening.
It's annoying but I haven't noticed any drawbacks as far as overall health.

Yes, many of us do get tired and want to take a nap during the day. There are different views. Some say, go ahead , you’re tired, just take a nap if you need it . This does work for some. However, it does interrupt solid night time sleep.

I went to a sleep doctor in the past who recommended that I push through naps so I can get a more restful sleep 💤 throughout the night.
We all must decide what is best for us. Sleep is as important as medicine.:)
