The patients and physicians at the recent Bronchiectasis and NTM conference in Texas implored all patients to exercise-saying it is a Critical Necessity!! What do you do on a daily or weekly basis to move your body and help your condition?

Great topic, it reminded me of an article talking about the important aspects of Pulmonary Rehabilitation, below is the link that talks about how it can help with chronic lung disease.

Been at pulmonary rehab since 2012 go 3 times week and do 45 to 50 min each. I can't say how important rehab is for all of us. With my Fev 1 of 29 dlco 37 without rehab I doubt I would be doing as much as I do at this point. So everyone please do some kind of exercise. It does make a difference!!

Hello! Yes, a topic of great importance. Patients realize that they just cannot exercise on some days , regardless of their desire to do so. How’s, doing any exercise on the “ better days” certain pays off.

Walking is my favorite thing to do. I find that having a pedometer/Fitbit really motivates me to keep moving. You can even use your phone for the same purpose!

Hello! I love to walk as well. Any type of exercise clears the mind and is so good for our respiratory system.
