Travel Hygiene
Hello all -
I'm new to this site and I'm glad you all are here to share with.
I would like to hear about measures you take to protect your lungs when traveling. I have gotten flare ups in the past when my son, his wife and my grandchildren have flown here for a visit (to Florida from Minnesota), usually in March, and also when I go on trips.
Thanks!

Val,
Hello! Welcome to the community. Do you do regular airway clearance? Bringing your airway clearance device with you on your travels is of utmost importance. You can use it after any event that maybe very crowded and a potential source of germs. Fortunately, this is a good time of the year to travel, not at the peak of flu season. It is important to be mindful of your energy levels when you are traveling. Pushing yourself too much can affect your immunity. If possible, boil your water where at least 3 minutes, stay well hydrated. Some individuals do wear mask when they are on public transportation, some choose not to do so. Wishing you safe travels and a wonderful trip.
