For people managing chronic conditions, knowing about these interactions is very important for getting the best results from their treatment.
For example, foods like grapefruit can affect how some medications are processed in the body, which could lead to more side effects or make the medicine less effective. Also, eating high-fat meals can change how quickly the body absorbs certain drugs.
To make sure you’re getting the most out of your medications talk to your doctor or pharmacist about your diet. :)

Great point. The food / drug interactions are also listed in the link above. This link can be the starting point when you are prescribed new meds. You can then make a list of questions for your pharmacist and or doctor. We want your medication to be the most effective for you.
