New here, looking for guidance and shared experiences
Hello everyone,
I'm new to the Bronchiectasis & NTM community and wanted to introduce myself. I have recently started learning more about bronchiectasis and NTM and I’m here to better understand the condition, treatment options and day to day management.
I’m especially interested in hearing about others’ experiences, what has helped you manage symptoms, any tips for maintaining lung health and how you navigate treatments or lifestyle changes.
It can feel overwhelming at first so I am really glad to have found a space like this where people share knowledge and support one another. I’m looking forward to learning from you all and contributing where I can.
Thank you in advance for any guidance or advice!
Best regards,
wajo23

Welcome wajo23........Airway Clearance is key for me
---23-we must be related!!!😀
Hi das23, thank you for the warm welcome! 😊 I really appreciate your insight—I've been hearing that airway clearance is very important, so it’s helpful to know it works well for you. I’ll definitely look more into that. And yes haha, maybe we are related!

Hi wajo23. We are glad you found our community. We offer monthly "Coffee Break" meetups that may be beneficial for connecting with others. Also, we have an information line where you can connect to our Ambassador and Coaching Team that can give excellent feedback to your most burning questions. There is loads of helpful information on this website, but it can be overwhelming. Take things a day at a time and if we can clarify anything, give us a call! 😊
Welcome, Wajo23! You are in the right place for education and community.
I know several people have already shared some of our resources, but if you are looking for a way to hear from both experts and people living with bronchiectasis, I also recommend checking out our podcast. We release one new episode each month.
If you are interested in a specific topic, please reach out. I would be happy to help and can add your suggestion to my list of future podcast topics. Alyssa@bronchandNTM.org
